Kingwood RECK Newsletter

Over the past several months we have had some great events. In October, we went to the National Funeral Museum and then had lunch at the Potatoe Patch and remarkably every one caught the rolls that the waiters threw to us.  This event was hosted by Bill & Judy Miles.  In September, our scheduled Buffalo Bayou tour was unfortunately cancelled due to a maintenance problem with the boat.  We were able to get a replacement event and we went to the Music Box for a concert featuring songs written and/or performed by artists from Texas preceded by dinner at Laurenzo’s. This was the first event hosted by Sharron & B. Ray Mize and they did an incredible job.  In August, we enjoyed Minute Maid Park and the Astros courtesy of the fabulous hosting style of Judy & Cass Zabinski. July saw us at the Michael Hix concert in Liberty and dining at Marsalas in Huffman hosted by Kay & Herb Caffey. June was so awesome on the Southern Empress Paddleboat tour on Lake Conroe hosted by fun loving Kay & Herb Caffey. Again, we dined, danced and laughed.
